PERFORMANCES
This work’s installation draws inspiration from the game “musical chairs” to address the concepts of localization, positioning, and earning a place for oneself. Chairs are subjected to operations that rob them of their functions; the process is repeated for every chair. Following this operation, the object in question now loses its old status and is brought to a new position. Humankind’s struggle to position themselves in society, a musical chairs game of one’s own, is played by the artwork’s observer.
